Privacy Policy
What Anoko does: you add photos of cats you meet in Tokyo, the app recognizes cats it already knows, and cats appear on a shared map in an approximate area.
1. Photos you add
Your photos are stored on your iPhone. If you are signed in to iCloud, a copy is shared with other players so they can see the cat. Before sharing, the photo is re-encoded without any embedded metadata: no GPS position, no camera details, no embedded dates. Faces, people's heads, number plates and address text are blurred automatically on your iPhone. Photos where no cat is detected are never shared. A visual fingerprint of the cat (numbers describing its look, used to recognize it) is shared with the photo.
2. Dates and timing
Only the day a photo was taken is shared, never the time of day. New photos are shared 15 to 45 minutes after you add them, not instantly.
3. Location
Your own position is never shared. The position stored in a photo is read on your iPhone only, to place the cat in an approximate area (a cell of about 100 m, slightly shifted). That area is all other players see. If you allow location access, your current position is used only on your iPhone: to center the map, and, when you take a photo inside the app, read once to place the new cat. Only the cat's approximate area is ever shared, never your position.
4. What other players can see
Cat photos, cat names, the notes you write (links, phone numbers and addresses are rejected), the day of each photo, each cat's approximate area, and your feline nickname. Every player automatically gets a random feline nickname, which you can change or remove in the app. If you mark two cats as the same cat (a merge), that merge is shared too. Your personality ratings stay on your iPhone.
5. Identity and storage
Anoko has no account. It uses an anonymous iCloud (CloudKit) user ID, which links your shared content together. We never receive your name, email address or Apple ID. Shared data is stored in Apple's CloudKit public database, operated by Meow Arts.
6. Notifications
You can turn on push notifications to hear when someone meets a cat you discovered. Apple delivers them. We store a subscription linked to your anonymous ID.
7. Reports and blocks
Reports, and every block, are sent to us and reviewed within 24 hours. We may remove content and ban players. A ban hides all of that player's content for everyone.
8. Deleting your data
You can delete any of your photos at any time in the app, and it is removed from the shared map for everyone. Deletions are retried until they succeed. To delete everything else (your nickname, your merges), write to [email protected].
9. Minimum age
Anoko is for players aged 13 and over.
10. No tracking
No analytics, no ads, no tracking, no third-party SDKs. No data is sold or shared with anyone.
11. Safety
Anoko never shows exact locations and asks players not to enter private property or disturb animals. Reported content is reviewed and removed when it breaks the rules in our terms of use.
12. Changes
If anything changes, we will update this page.

Anokoでできること：東京で出会った猫の写真を追加すると、アプリがすでに知っている猫を見分け、猫はおおよそのエリアとして共有マップに表示されます。
1. 追加した写真
写真はお使いのiPhoneに保存されます。iCloudにサインインしている場合、猫を見られるように、写真のコピーがほかのプレイヤーと共有されます。共有の前に写真は再エンコードされ、埋め込まれたメタデータ（位置情報（GPS）、カメラ情報、埋め込まれた日時）はすべて含まれません。人の顔や頭、ナンバープレート、住所の文字はiPhone上で自動的にぼかされます。猫が検出されない写真が共有されることはありません。猫を見分けるための特徴データ（見た目を表す数値）も写真と一緒に共有されます。
2. 日付とタイミング
共有されるのは写真を撮った日付だけで、時刻は共有されません。新しい写真は追加してすぐではなく、15〜45分後に共有されます。
3. 位置情報
あなた自身の位置が共有されることはありません。写真に含まれる位置はiPhone上でのみ読み取られ、猫をおおよそのエリア（約100mの区画を少しずらしたもの）に配置するために使われます。ほかのプレイヤーに見えるのはこのエリアだけです。位置情報へのアクセスを許可した場合、現在地はiPhone上でのみ使われます。マップの表示のほか、アプリ内で写真を撮ったときに新しい猫を配置するため一度だけ読み取られます。共有されるのは猫のおおよそのエリアだけで、あなたの位置が共有されることはありません。
4. ほかのプレイヤーに見えるもの
猫の写真、猫の名前、あなたが書いたメモ（リンク、電話番号、住所は受け付けません）、各写真の日付、猫のおおよそのエリア、そしてあなたの猫語のニックネームです。ニックネームはすべてのプレイヤーにランダムで自動的につき、アプリで変更・削除できます。2匹の猫を同じ猫としてまとめた場合（統合）、その統合も共有されます。性格の評価はiPhoneの中だけに保存されます。
5. 本人情報と保存先
Anokoにはアカウントがありません。匿名のiCloud（CloudKit）ユーザーIDを使い、あなたが共有した内容をひとつにまとめます。お名前、メールアドレス、Apple IDを受け取ることはありません。共有データは、Meow Artsが運用するAppleのCloudKit公開データベースに保存されます。
6. 通知
あなたが見つけた猫に誰かが出会ったときに、プッシュ通知を受け取ることができます（任意）。通知はAppleが配信し、私たちは匿名IDにひもづいた通知の登録情報を保存します。
7. 報告とブロック
報告とすべてのブロックは私たちに送られ、24時間以内に確認します。コンテンツの削除やプレイヤーの利用停止を行うことがあります。利用停止になったプレイヤーのコンテンツは、すべての人から見えなくなります。
8. データの削除
アプリ内で自分の写真をいつでも削除でき、共有マップからもすべての人に対して削除されます。削除は完了するまで自動で再試行されます。そのほかのデータ（ニックネーム、統合）をすべて削除したい場合は、[email protected]までご連絡ください。
9. 年齢制限
Anokoは13歳以上の方を対象としています。
10. トラッキングなし
解析ツール、広告、トラッキング、外部SDKは使用していません。データを販売・共有することはありません。
11. 安全のために
Anokoは正確な場所を表示せず、私有地に入ったり動物を驚かせたりしないようお願いしています。報告された内容は確認し、利用規約に反するものは削除します。
12. 変更
内容に変更がある場合は、このページを更新します。
